We are currently accepting applications for Concessions Sales, Kitchen Line
Cooks, and Parking Attendants
for the 2022 drive-in summer season.
All applicants must be a minimum 16 years of age, provide documentation for legal eligibility to work in the United States, and be available to work all weekend nights, and late hours (typically 11p.m. - 12 a.m.)
All applicants also MUST be able to work all major holiday weekends, including but not limited to Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, and Thanksgiving Weekend.
The
Stardust pays all employees WEEKLY (by check) - No exceptions. If you need
to be paid "in cash" or "under the table" - DO NOT APPLY

Concessions Sales - This position puts you right on the front line of the concession stand, personally interacting with our patrons, preparing food items, and working with commercial grade warming, cooking and dispensing appliances. Duties also include operating a cash register and being able to count and make correct change. Front Line concession sales employees will be responsible for cleaning, stocking, and maintaining your work area, and being able to break down equipment for cleaning at the end of your shift. Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the restrooms throughout your shift is also a responsibility of the Front Line Concessions Sales staff. |
Kitchen Line Cooks - The Stardust Kitchen is a very fast paced work environment. A team of Line cooks in the kitchen will typically prepare dinner for 1,000 - 1,500 patrons per weekend night during the summer months - all within a time frame of about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Hot grilled Items such as burgers, Philly Cheese steak sandwiches, New York Rueben sandwiches, fresh oven baked pizzas, and fried items such as fries, onion rings, chicken, etc. are all cooked to order in the Stardust kitchen. Kitchen Line cooks will work directly with grills, gas-fired deep fryers, high temperature deck ovens, conveyor ovens and work surfaces, exposed heating elements, and hot oil filtration units. Duties include preparing and cooking food items. Kitchen Line Cooks will be responsible for cleaning, re-stocking, and maintaining your work area, and being able to break down equipment for cleaning at the end of your shift. |
Parking Attendants - Our "yellow-vested men (and women) of justice" help provide a vital part of the overall experience our patrons receive while here at the Stardust. Interacting one on one with each and every customer on the fields, our Parking Attendants direct traffic, assist patrons with parking issues, help enforce our parking guidelines and house rules, and provide customer service when needed. Duties include cleaning and maintaining the concession stand lobby, emptying trash cans from the lobby, and cleaning and maintaining the men's restroom at the end of the evening. Parking attendants duties also include cleaning the trash off the parking fields at the end of the evening and emptying all outside trash receptacles at the theatre. Due to the nature of this position and late hours worked, all applicants for Parking Attendant must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older, and be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. |
